いよいよ英検１級面接本番が近づいてきました。難関の一次試験を突破し、二次試験を迎えます。当日の流れ、注意点、面接室での流れなどまとめました。
英検１級当日の流れをシミュレーション
今日は英検の当日の流れを説明します。
その後で
面接を実際に受けているつもりで
レッスンしていきましょう。
英検当日
集合時間に注意
英検１級の二次試験は午後です。今まで行ったことのない場所での面接だと思いますので、少なくとも集合時間の３０分前には会場に着いておくつもりで行きましょう。（それでも混んでいることあります）
私はTOEICの試験の時に会場のある
駅で降りた時、TOEICのハガキを持っている
人がたくさんいたのでその人たちに
着いて行きました。しかし、いつまでも着かず、
不安になってみんなで近くのお店の人に
確かめたら、全く違った場所へ向かってました。
早めに出ていたからこそ間に合いました（笑）
Google Mapなどできちんと確認しながら
会場に向かいましょう。
持ち物チェック
二次受験票に書いてありますので
もう一度チェックしておきましょうね。

携帯のアプリなどで勉強している人は気をつけて
携帯は袋に入れて閉じておかなければ
ならないので、携帯でいつも勉強
している人も、必ず過去問題集や予想問題集など
お持ちの紙の本をお持ちくださいね。
待ち時間の間勉強できなくなっちゃいます。
集合時間になったら受付➡︎控え室（面接カード）➡︎面接室へ
先ほどの受付に必要な書類を受付の方に見せて受付を終わらせましょう。そのあとは控え室に案内されます。
係員の方の指示に従って、着席しましょう。
机の上に「面接カード」があるか、係員からお渡しされるので、氏名、個人番号、受験会場の名前などを記入しましょう。

面接本番の時、面接をする
部屋に入室した後で、
面接官にお渡しする
カードのことですよ。
そのカードに面接官が
受験者の面接の
点数を書き込んでいくのです。
二枚あるので気をつけてくださいね。
どうして二枚あるんですか？
1級は面接官が二人いらっしゃるのです。その二人の
面接官の方がそれぞれ採点されるので
面接カードは二枚あるのです。
上のカードのみ書いて下になっている方を書き忘れる人も
多いので気をつけてくださいね。

そのあとは、また係員から面接室へ向かうという指示があり、何人かまとめて面接室の前までいきますので、係員の方について面接室の前まで行きましょう。「面接カード」も含めて、荷物は全て持って移動しましょう。

スピーキングの力を測定する試験です。
個人面接で面接官は二人（ネイティブと日本人）です。
スピーチの内容、応答の内容、語彙、文法、発音の
正確さの観点で評価します。
社会性の高い幅広い分野の話題がトピックとなりますので
日頃から英語の勉強だけでなく
様々な知識を自分のものにしておくことも大切になります。

この点数は二人の面接官が１つの
セクションにつき5点持っていると
言われています。
その合計が点数になると言われています。
ただ何点取ればいいのかというのは
あまりはっきりとはされてなくて
各セクション8点を目指して頑張って
欲しいと思います。
二次素点合格レンジは24～28点（正答率60％～70％）
はとっていて欲しいです。各回ごとに違うので
やはり28点を目指しましょう。
面接室へ入ってからの流れ
①入室
May I come in?と言って入る方が多いと思いますが、ドアを開けて入るときに笑顔で” Hello " と言ってはいれば大丈夫です。
② 「面接カード」を渡す
「面接カード」とくださいと言われるのでお渡しします。会話は全て英語です。
③ 着席します
面接官の指示がありますので着席しましょう
④ 氏名・受ける級の確認・簡単な日常会話
面接官に名前を尋ねられるので答えます。そして受ける級の確認をされます。 1stと聞こえたら、OKと答えてください。
そのあとは簡単な日常会話をします。（ここは得点には入りません。ウォーミングアップと考えて自然な感じでお話できるといいですね。）

この後でご自身について何かを話してくださいと言われるので軽く自己紹介します。そのあとは面接官により幾つ質問されるかわわかりませんが、質問されたことにナチュラルに答えられるようにしましょう。
この部分は実際の得点にはならないのですが、とはいえ、面接官は受験される方の受け答え、態度などを見ていらっしゃいます。また発音やアクセントなどもしっかりと聞かれていると思うので、はっきりと聞こえる声で自信を持って受け答えできるようにしておきましょう。

ここからが勝負です。カードの上に５つのトピックが書かれているのでその中からトピックを選び、どう話そうとするか考えるのに1分間しかありません。
自分の得意分野を２つか３つ作っておいて、そのトピックに近いものをすぐに探しましょう。
そこからは自分が言うことを英作文の時と同じように、Introduction(導入）➡︎２つのBody➡︎Conclusionが言えるように日本語でいいので考えましょう。
自分の口から滑らかに英語が出てくるように日々練習しておくことがものすごく必要ですね。
当日の朝は特に英語を話してウォーミングアップしておいてくださいね。

It is certainly true that the Olympics have become more popular and more international in recent years.
A large amount of money are spent on holding the games and promoting them, and athletes can become celebrities if they win a medal.
The age of mass media brought the Olympics onto the world stage and made it a truly international spectacles.
A report issued by some experts shows that the countries that host the Olympics can make approximately 10 billion dollars.
Therefore many company might use this opportunity to earn huge amount of money especially many TV stations has tried to get the right to show Olympic Games on their own TV programs.
Also so many professional athletes take part in Olympics to get medals for their own countries .In this way, we can say Olympics is commercialized.
However, I think spectators can rely on the Olympic Games to have exciting competition between fully trained athletes.
Also, the amount of advertising is still kept to a minimum, since the Olympic stadiums are not yet full of billboard advertising Cola or mobile phones.
So I think the current Olympics are something to enjoy rather than complain about .

it is difficult to hold a event which

For example, in Olympics, the government of each
country get involved in
activities to be a host country and there are numerous
negotiations among participating countries, so I think
we cannot keep politics out of major international
sporting events.

Should developed countries encourage immigration from other countries?
I heard that there are many problems
concerning immigration from other
countries, especially in Western countries
such as European countries or America.
However, I believe immigration is beneficial
to the developed countries because
some countries have succeeded in reducing labor costs by hiring people from developing countries.
Also immigration will encourage world peace because healthy relationships between developed countries and developing countries are needed and I think this might , contribute to world peace.

気をつけること
面接官の方たちは、受験者の積極性、声の大きさ、発音の明瞭さ、コミュニケーションを取ろうという力など、入室してから退室するまでの受験者の態度や様子、姿勢を見ていらっしゃいます。
完璧に話せなかったとしてもうまく自分の知っている言葉で文を作ろうという姿勢も見られています。
ですから
ミスしたと思った時も、Excuse me? と言ったり、Can I Say it again?のように言ってからもう一度言い直してもいいのです。
面接は人と人とのコミュニケーションであるということを頭に入れておきましょうね。
考えるときに、「えーと」と言ったり
「あ、間違えた」と言ったり（小さな声で）
言うのも全て聞こえていますので気を付けましょう。
考えるときは、Well. やLet me see. のように言って
から考えるようにしましょう。
十秒無言だと次の問題にいきますので気を付けて
くださいね。
「えーと」まで言わずに「えー」で止めておければ
Wellに聞こえると思いますので「と」は
言わないでください。
あとは自分の声を録音しておくと自分が無意識に
「えーと」などと言っているくせに気がつきます。

開発賛成の意見と開発反対の意見どちらも大切よねという

Topic; Is space exploration worth the cost?
Traveling through space is a dream of mankind, and with so many novels and movies about space, it's understandable that many people want to get off the planet Earth.
However, space development is not only expensive, but also dangerous, so it is not surprising that humans have not set foot on the moon since they arrived there in the 1970s. It also suggests the possibility of what is called "space junk" and that it could be used for military purposes. Nevertheless, I believe that space exploration is necessary.
First of all, thanks to the development of technology and medicine, the number of people suffering and dying from disease has decreased across the globe. This means that the population of the entire planet will continue to grow at the same time. Because of the Earth's limited resources, food, and land to live in, if people could live outside the Earth, there is a possibility that their quality of life would not be reduced in the future.
Secondly, space exploration requires advanced technology and the development of that technology will lead to the development of devices that will make our lives more convenient and comfortable. In addition, because of its role as a major public works project, space development will contribute to the development of industry and the creation of jobs, as well as to the provision of a wide variety of social infrastructure such as satellite broadcasting and mobile phones.
Lastly, I believe that by looking at the Earth from the perspective of space, each and every one of us will be able to think about the major environmental problems that are occurring on our planet today. By experiencing the beauty of the Earth, we will be able to feel the horror of the fact that humans have been improving our lives while destroying the environment. The United Nations is currently discussing the issue of space debris and they are developing a function that will allow satellites that are sent up into space to re-enter the earth quickly and burn up.
There are many problems with space exploration, but if countries can work together to advance the above benefits, a better world for humanity may be possible.
